Attorney Heather Mulroney founded ART Family Law in order to provide holistic and compassionate legal protection for those in all stages of modern family formation – from the beginning stages of family partnerships through family creation to estate planning. Ms. Mulroney became passionate about reproductive freedom and childbirth rights through her own personal experience and finds it a privilege to advocate for her clients in this personal field of law. Ms. Mulroney has also handled legal matters related to business transactions, contract disputes, and employment law.
Ms. Mulroney grew up in Florida and attended the University of Florida for her Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and Language as well as her Master of Arts in International Business. With two small children in tow, she obtained her law degree from Florida International University on a Dean’s Scholarship.
During law school, Ms. Mulroney interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office and Kristi House, where she worked in the Human Trafficking Unit. She was also selected to work with the Virtual Student Foreign Service program with the State Department. For that program, she conducted cross-country analysis on trafficking laws for the annual Trafficking in Persons Report, distributed to governmental and non-governmental organizations around the world. Additionally, Ms. Mulroney interned with The Honorable Michael Genden at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida’s Probate Division. At her graduation in 2014, she received the Pro Bono Service Award for dedicating over 130 volunteer hours to the Miami legal community.
Ms. Mulroney splits her time between Northern Virginia and Miami, Florida. When not practicing law, she is raising her three children and volunteering in the community. She loves to run, practice yoga, be outside, cheer for the Gators, and listen to true crime podcasts.
